Sunday morning on Maui and we’re starting our sixth day in a row of blasting, balistic trade winds. It’s been strong enough to blow most people off the water on the their smallest sails lately. And, looks like more of the same on tap for the next several days.

The strong winds didn’t deter windsurfing instructor Fares from taking a forward loop lesson from Matt Pritchard though. In this video, Matt takes you through the learning to forward look process by following behind Fares taking video with his GoPro HD.

All of my attempts have looked like Fares’ first attempt. After watching this, maybe it’s time to take a lesson from Matt and get all the way around.
