Last race today of the 2010 Maui Race Series – the Neil Pryde State Championships. Some pretty wild and gnarly conditions with strong winds and squalls through much of the day. Windy enough that some guys were on their 5.1 race sails. I don’t have the result yet, but here’s some photos I snapped of the action today.
Shot some video too and I’ll be checking that out and editing it over the next few days. Only got some of the morning action as squalls in the afternoon kept getting water on my camera lens, so I missed capturing some of the best action of the day.
Racing is over on Maui for this year, but the slalom sailors will still be out in force. We’ll be adding content to MauiRaceSeries.com and getting that built to satisfy the demand for slalom and racing coverage. See the previous post for more details on that.
