Finally got a chance to finish my chainsaw editing of video from last Saturday’s Dakine Classic, race #2 in the 2010 Maui Race Series. My video camera battery died after about 5 minutes so I had to resort to taking video with my still camera. Then that battery died. So, kind of a hodge podge of clips, but if you want to see Micah Buzianis blazing around the marks with the fleet hot on his tail, or if you competed and want to see if I caught you jibing around a mark, check it out.
As for the windsurfing report, the last few days have gone ballistic again. 4.2 sailing for me (185 lbs) on Sunday and Monday. Skipped yesterday and today, but got the report from Peter Thommen that I didn’t miss anything yesterday. Very bumpy from what I hear.
Winds are forecast to mellow slightly tomorrow and more on Friday then possibly go light on the weekend as the trades shift too south east to work for Maui.
