Forgotten Maui Windsurfing Video

Quiet Sunday afternoon here on Maui with a light south east wind pattern making for super light onshore wind everywhere. So, I was doing some maintenance on the website and came across this video I started over a year ago and just forgot about it. Usually any video I do is just from action from a single day.  But I thought it would be interesting to try something with a theme, so I had this dumb idea to do a video featuring only riders on red sails. Why? Watch, or rather listen to the video and you’ll get an idea.

I never felt like the video was coming together very well. That’s why it just sat unfinished and forgotten. But, with lack of any new material the last few days and low probability of me doing anything more to this video, I figured, what the hell, let’s just post it. So, here it is. Featuring lots of Robby Naish, as well as Mark Angulo, Levi Siver, Keith Teboul, Kevin Pritchard, Kai Lenny and others.

As sI mentioned, the wind has gone super light the last couple of days. It was pretty good early to mid last week but then slowly and steadily started dropping off. By yesterday, it was virtually too light to sail. Today’s looking like waterskiing weather. Probably similar conditions tomorrow, before the wind starts filling back in on Tuesday.
