Still No Trade Winds

I’m running out of ways to report on the lack of trade winds here on Maui. Our seemingly endless streak of doldrums continues. Beautiful weather though. Another cold front is due to pass over Maui tonight and stall and dissipate tomorrow. Wind Guru is showing promising numbers but I think they’re going to be wrong again. They don’t seem to handle this type of pattern well. Not enough time for high pressure to set up after the front dissipates so I don’t think it’s likely to be sailable on the north shore tomorrow. Kihei is a maybe, but I’m dubious about that too. Best chance looks like late in the week, but its’ still too far out to get excited about those chances.
