Scenes from Hookipa on a sunny day in November. I received a request from a reader last week to include video footage of non-pro sailors. So while at Hookipa last week I decided to oblige him and try to capture some other footage besides the same pros I normally focus on.
While I don’t think that reader was there that day, I did film some things I normally wouldn’t – probably a good thing to change things up a bit. Of course there’s still some clips of pros in there including Kai Katchedorian and Kevin Pritchard but also got some non-pro sailors as well as some other scenes from a sunny, uncrowded day at Hookipa.

Hi Jeff thanks for all the killer doccumentation.
It’s been and continues to be one heck of a streak for wind and waves at Hookipa. Today was day 10 for me there. Levi and I were saying this one is getting close to the record books…certainly forever etched in the memory banks !!
Aloha !
Kai Katchadourian aka Flykatcher
Thanks Kai. Yep, pretty much epic. I can’t remember a November that’s been this good. My body is begging for a break, but I just can’t pass on this wind and wave combo.
Hi Jeff,

Thanks Rani. Glad to provide a little sunshine to windsurfing addicts around the world. Aloha!
Kai, Your endless enthusiasm for windsurfing has not changed a bit.
This is the second video from my facebook page of recent regular windsurfing in Maui. It is a welcome addition to seeing the pros.
At the same time watching Kevin is terrific, such a touch and feel!
