Back on Maui after a week+ off-island traveling and visiting family. It sure feels good to be back. A lot of people ask about getting “rock fever” here. That’s never been a problem for me. Just the opposite in fact. Sometimes I feel like Maui is getting to crowded and commercialized but all it takes is a few days back on the mainland to put things back into perspective – we’ve got it sooooo good here on Maui.
Not really sure what conditions were like while I was gone. Got one report from Jazz that I didn’t miss much. Heard it was ginormously big Wednesday and Thursday last week and light too.
Not sure what’s in store today. Looks like wind will be around for today and tomorrow but it looks like it might be rainy too. After that it looks like trade winds go away for the rest of the week. Also looks like we have a north swell running. Gonna try to dig out of the backlog of work and errands and get on the water today if it’s not raining.
Oh, and I’ve got December’s desktop wallpaper calendar ready to go – just have to upload the various sizes and post it. Look for that later today or tomorrow.
