KP Wave 360
Here’s the best set of photos I got of the action at Hookipa yesterday with the rare August north swell, starring Kevin Pritchard and Robby Naish. Kevin’s raving about it on his blog. He mentions sharing a wave with Robby. Looking through my video this morning it looks like I caught that on film, so look for that to be posted here in a day or two.
More fun today. Powered up 5.0 sailing. Waves weren’t as big or nice as yesterday but still some fun leftovers. Stoke-meter is still pegged. As of 2:00 when I quit, the new swell wasn’t hitting Kanaha yet. Looks like the new swell might have started hitting buoy 1 around 11am today. Based on that, I think tomorrow should be another good day.
