Sweet & Tweet

The other news of the day is that I’ve decided to resume my Twitter posts and I’ve embedded the Twitter feed on this site. So, if you’re on Twitter, you can follow me at MauiWindsurfing. Tweet! I’m still not a total Twitter fanatic, so don’t expect to get inundated with Maui Windsurfing tweets every other minute, but it’s easier to do short, quick tweets than whole blog posts.

As for our long-lost trade winds? Don’t expect a return of decent wind any time soon. Looks like light trades MAYBE returning next week, but so far it’s looking like they’ll be too weak for windsurfing.

Still no wind here on Maui, but there is some good news for when the wind does return. MauiWindCam.com has just gone live today with their new HD Kanaha Cam. Living streaming video of Kanaha. Sweet! Now all you desk slaves around the world can watch as we sail here on Maui (or as we don’t sail as has been the case too often lately). Checking right now, not only is it not windy, but it’s flat too.
