Stormy weather on Maui late last week gave way to beautiful golf weather on the weekend that has stuck around into the early work week. Sunny skies and super light winds are dominating. It’s even been too light for windsurfing in Kihei that last few days. Looks like more of the same today. Our best [...]

Light northerly winds have dominated Maui this week with winds light enough to make the north shore mostly unsailable. Winds have turned light and variable and essentially unsailable here on Maui the past several days. Thursday brought the downward trend with some light but sailable winds at Hookipa. Another day of cranking, blasting winds on Maui and more photo shoot action going down at Hookipa despite cloudy conditions. Lots of the 2010 Neil Pryde’s out on the water – new Combats and new TheFlys. Lots of Wave 360 attempts for the photographer in the water. Here’s the best of what I got today.
As [...]

More 2010 Neil Pryde and Fanatic photo shoot action from Hookipa. Honking winds, cloudy skies and a cameo appearance by a humpback whale not too far outside the break just to make things a little more interesting.
