Maui Weekend Windsurfing Report

Friday – was supposed to be moderately windy, but light wind all around was too light for most people to sail. Big northwest swell. Saturday – not supposed to be very windy, so of course it was. By all accounts, some of the nicest, steadiest wind we’ve had in weeks. Beautiful sunny day, and northwest swell still pumping. 5.3 and floaty wave board at Uppers was the ticket. Lots and lots of stoked, smiling windsurfers at Kanaha yesterday.

This morning is sunny again and the trade winds are already blowing in the upper teens. Northwest swell is on the decline, but still should be something worth getting out there. Setting up to be a beautiful windsurfing day on Maui.
