Light Winds

Maui winds the last several days have been on the light side. Winds on Thursday never came up to sailable levels for a sustainable level of time. Friday morning I flew out of Maui to San Jose for a conference. Talked to Maui Pete yesterday and Jazz on the phone today to get the scoop on sailing the last few days. Both report that the wind hasn’t been cooperating, but that there is a nice north swell running. Sounds like wind will be light for another day or two before making a big come back along with some nice surf. I’ll be off-island through this week but plan to get some guest windsurfing reports in so I’ll have an update here in a couple of days. Stay tuned.
