Wave season has begun, and Hookipa got it’s biggest swell yet this week with overhead conditions on Monday and Tuesday. Here’s video from yesterday with some good sets still available to the likes of Francisco Goya, Levi Siver, Keith Teboul, Junko Nagoshi, Kai Lenny, Mark Angulo and more.

Still some northwest swell rolling in even at Uppers and even at Lowers, though the good sets were few and far between, interspersed with lots of junky, bumpy stuff. It’s all good though. Always good to have some surf to play in.
Looks like winds will drop off the next couple of days, at least that’s what the forecasters are saying. Shame, there’s another couple of small northwest swells on tap the next few days.
