Wind and waves never really cooperated yesterday on the north shore, a lot of sitting around and teasing wind. Kihei was the place to be since the winds were so northerly.
Today the winds were still quite northerly but a little stronger, making it doable at Kanaha. 5.3 / 90 L wave board was the call for me, but really 5.7 would have been better. There were still some left over waves up at Uppers and Camp One, occasionally head high, but mostly waist high or so. Not as nice as earlier in the week, but still fun.
